Wisconsin Supreme Court Judge Vote Count Changes Winner

After results showing Kloppenburg was ahead of Prosser by 204 points following Wisconsin's Supreme Court Justice special election held on April 5, 2011, a county clerk claims to have "forgotten" to push the save button that would have added another 7582 votes to the tally.

The clerk, Kathy Nickolaus in Waukesha, said she "is sorry" but that the problem was due to "human error" as opposed to a failure of the system. After rewarding 11,059 of the "found" votes to Prosser and 3,456 to Kloppenburg the person winning the election changes.

The new winner of the race is now said to be Prosser by a grand total of 7381 vote lead; a much higher number than Kloppenburg was believed to have won.

It should be noted that Nickolaus works for the the Republican Party and has been under scrutiny for voter fraud in the past.
